When we pray, we talk with God

Our daily life leads us on paths that distance us from the true Life and true values. We live immersed in a life of consumption, of comfort, and of inertia — everything that numbs our sensitivity and keeps us from living fraternally at home and in our daily activities. A living prayer opens the door for us getting in touch with the inner world, with the essence, with light, and with love. Any movement toward the sacred is a prayer.

Everyday life deludes us, saying that prayer is an ineffective tool, that it is an activity of people who have nothing to do, of gullible people.

This can cause us to give up and feel discouraged. And yet, prayer will gradually clarify the steps we take and give us back forgotten values. When we pray, everything that is not Light in us begins to dissolve. This is why it is said that prayer is redemptive, that it possesses the necessary powers to lead us to a reconciliation with God.

Prayer is an opportunity for us to talk with God, of uniting with Him.

Through prayer we gradually deepen our love for God, a love that brings us the aspiration of being more understanding, more human, more just, more fraternal.
