Children in treatment, young people in action

“IN ALL THINGS, LOVE AND SERVE.”
(Saint Ignatius of Loyola)

In Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais), Brazil, a group of young people, accompanied by monks of the Grace Mercy Order, offer themselves regularly for selfless service in a Support House for children and adolescents with cancer.

Carrying a guitar, colored pencils, mandalas for coloring, and in the heart, love and joy for serving, they offer themselves for the task with the little souls.

On the other hand, these little souls receive them with pure and wide smiles and teach them how to live the tests, although heavy, with lightness, patience, and simplicity.

With joy, the young people, children, and monks pray and sing, develop playful activities, and share stories. And so, following the steps and the Instructions of a great Servant of God - Saint Joseph - all seek to experience the essential: to sow love and to serve.

Either as a service, going to a place that needs much love, or inside your families,
defeat pride and fear, and perform an act of love as your hearts may indicate.

Saint Joseph, September 23, 2015
