convert our gaze 

into Your Merciful perspective of Love.

First decade

For the obedient Gaze of Jesus

at the offering of the Chalice of the Lord,

Abba, may our will surrender

to Your Holy Will.

Amen.

 

Second decade

For the peaceful Gaze of Jesus

at His condemnation,

Emmanuel, may our loyalty to Your Purpose

always be above the evils

that we will have to face.

Amen.

 

Third decade

For the resilient Gaze of Jesus

during His scourging,

Adonai, may Your Light descend

upon those who suffer injustices in Your Name.

Amen.

 

Fourth decade

For the silent Gaze of Jesus

during the crowning with thorns,

Olam, may Your Silence prevail

over slanders and false testimonies.

Amen.

 

Fifth decade

For the reflective Gaze of Jesus

while He carried the Cross of the world,

El-Shaddai, make us strong

so as to balance the dissociation of these times.

Amen.

 

Sixth decade

For the charitable Gaze of Jesus

during His last steps with the heavy Cross,

Eli, give us the fortitude

to serve You until the end.

Amen.

 

Seventh decade

For the last Gaze of Jesus on the Cross

toward the Heavens,

Eloha, may You always be

our hope and eternal rest.
