This Saturday (11/27): Youth Festival for Peace Online

The Youth Festival for Peace Online (YFP) will take place this Saturday (11/27), with the theme Going towards the PURPOSE. This issue will be dedicated to inspiring young people to seek the inner connection that can reveal to them the spiritual meaning of their lives.

The free event will be held at two times: at 11 a.m. (first part) and at 5 p.m. (second part).

The broadcast will be in Portuguese, Spanish and English.

MUSIC

Madayati/ Brazil

Madayati had a band and was a DJ at the beginning of his career. In 2013, he saw a higher purpose in music, and the following year, he recorded the album "Amor Sincero" (Sincere Love), which currently has more than 1.3 million views.

Bruninho Alves/ Brazil

Bruninho Alves is a pop/gospel singer and composer. He believes music can transform people. One of his main musical influences was a charismatic renewal group, through which he felt, for the first time, the love for God.

Francisco Nogal/ Argentina

Francisco Nogal returns to the Youth Festival for Peace with two original songs. His first participation in the event occured in Santa Fe, Argentina (2020).

IPDAE / Brazil

The Instituto Porto-Alegrense de Arte-Educação (IPDAE) (Institute Porto-Alegrense of Art and Education) presents the talent of young Kewen Silva Rodrigues, who at the age of 10 began his piano studies at the IPDAE Music Conservatory.

African choir

The African Choir is composed of a group of young Angolans, living at the Centro Universitário Adventista de São Paulo (UNASP) (Adventist University Center of Sao Paulo), who sing the love of God with traditional African rhythms. In this edition of the YFP, they will present two songs in the mother tongue of Angola.

Guests choir

Singers and instrumentalists from different cities of Brazil will interpret the song "A começar em mim" (Starting in me), by the group Vocal Livre.
 

VOLUNTEERING

Fraternity – International Humanitarian Federation (FIHF)/ Brazil

The humanitarian service carried out by Humanitarian Fraternity (FIHF) will be present at the YFP through the recording of a video workshop made for young people in one of the refugee shelters managed by the institution.

 

LOVE FOR THE KINGDOMS OF NATURE

Recife/Brazil Youth Group

The youth group from Recife will present the 3rd episode of the documentary series "Mãe Amazona" (Amazona Mother), deepening into the study of coral reefs.
 

CONSCIOUS EATING

Nutrition / Brazil

Nutritionist Millena Chayamiti will teach you the recipe of a delicious dessert suggestion for Christmas: vegan peanut candy cake. Millena is vegetarian and passionate about cooking.
 

VISUAL ARTS

Sociocultural Project Tribes/ Brazil

Photographs produced during the Sociocultural Project Tribes, by the NGO Parceiros Voluntários (Volunteer Partners) will be presented. Tribes is a program that has existed for over 18 years and aims to awaken the entrepreneurial potential of young people, with a focus on social issues.
 

Organization

The Youth Festival for Peace Online aims to spread the culture of peace, respect for the environment and expand the possibilities of communication and integration amongst the youth. Due to the pandemic, it adhered to the exclusively online format. Since then, each edition has been attended by people from many more parts of the world.

The event is organized by the Youth Campaign For Peace, a Christian, ecumenical and international movement that aims to inspire new generations to awaken the divine love within them, as well as promoting the spirit of union and peace among individuals of all faiths, cultures, peoples and nations.
