The schedule of the 3rd Youth Festival for Peace has been released and, as always, the event brings a lot of inspiring content for young people, including music, service to others, social inclusion, sustainability, prayer, dance, poetry and fine arts.
The theme of this edition - "United we are strong!" - gives the tonic for all activities and, beyond the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, comes to show that everything is possible when hearts unite in fraternity for an evolutionary goal.

The Festival will take place on August 1, Sunday, with transmission at two different times: at 11 am (first part) and 5 pm (second part).

Here’s a glimpse of the confirmed artists and the content, compiled by young people from all over the world, that will be presented:
Attribute of this edition: "United we are strong!"
Young people of different nationalities send a message to the world about unity among peoples, nations, cultures and religions, inspired by the attribute of this edition of the Festival.
Sustainability
> Samanta Fioravante, creator of the "Limpeza Viva” project, brings a simple homemade disinfectant recipe and talks about the benefits of using natural products in household cleaning.
> Júlia Pitsch, nutritionist, returns to the Festival, bringing one more recipe without ingredients of animal origin.
> The Youth Group of Recife, from the Youth Campaign for Peace, will present a documentary about the manatee, an animal that is on the list of Brazilian species threatened with extinction.
Fine arts
> Guest artist: Mena (São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil).
SLAM
> Catharine Moreira and Cauê Gouveia (São Paulo, Brazil) present the “Pequeno Manual da Cultura Surda”, which deals with awareness about deaf culture and the inclusion of deaf people in society.
The SLAM represents something like a "beat", and is the name given to the “poetry battles” that are becoming popular across the world. It is a free space for speaking and listening
Dance
> Video about the work developed at the Ana Rockenbach Ballet School (Brusque, Santa Catarina, Brazil).
> Video with members of the dance group Projeto Black Dance (Salvador, Bahia, Brazil) who decided to donate toys and clothes for socially vulnerable young people. The material, produced with the support of the Youth Group of Salvador, from the Youth Campaign for Peace, shows that it is possible to combine dance and service to others.

> Video with the prayer "Sacred Unity", intoned by young people from different countries, in different languages.
Poetry
> Presentation of authorial poetry made by young people from the Nucleus of Service Crer-Sendo (Teresópolis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), in partnership with the young people of the charity Santa Isabel House of the Child (Luanda, Angola).
Altruistic service (video documented actions)
> Action of a group of volunteers from São Paulo (São Paulo, Brazil) that promotes the adoption of dogs rescued by the Crer-Sendo Service Nucleus (Teresópolis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), in partnership with the NGO "Nature in Shape". Video produced by the Youth Group of São Paulo, from the Youth Campaign for Peace, in partnership with the Crer-Sendo Service Nucleus.
> Social action with families in situations of social vulnerability in São Carlos and Pirassununga (São Paulo, Brazil).
> Testimony of young missionaries of Fraternity - International Humanitarian Federation on the work with Venezuelan refugees of the Roraima Mission (Boa Vista, Roraima, Brazil).
> Records of the workshop "Nuestra Mirada", whose objective was to provide basic audiovisual production techniques to young Indigenous Venezuelans living in humanitarian shelters in Roraima.

Association Mary
